Every year DZs donate teddy bears for Mighty Change of Heart. These bears are given to children in crisis situations. Please bring your teddy bears to the December event or contact our Panhellenic delegate for pick up. Last year we donated 300.
Phoenix Alums also make turtle shaped pillow skins for campers at Painted Turtle Camp, one of Delta Zeta's National Philanthropies.

Scholarships for Women
Panhellenic volunteers annually donate their time to work concessions at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in order to earn money to provide scholarships for Arizona undergraduate, graduate and continuing education collegiate Greek women. Since 1975, Thunderbird Charities has generously donated over $750,000 to Phoenix Panhellenic Association for its volunteer support at the golf tournament. Many Delta Zetas have received scholarships through Panhellenic and our volunteer efforts.
The Phoenix Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta sorority supports several Philanthropies.
Since 1983 we have given a scholarship(s) to a graduating senior(s) from the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf who is going on to higher education. The award is now named the Delta Zeta Phoenix Alumnae/Claudia Edwards Hosking Memorial Scholarship. A tribute to Claudia, our long time Philanthropy chairwomen.
